Congratulations to Jinghua Qian, our 2020 Writing Fellow!
Jinghua will use the fellowship and residency at the Hyphenated Projects house to further develop a book-length project which investigates the state of the diaspora amid China's rise to power, looking at the trap of claims to authenticity; the formation of decentred, diasporic cultural identity; and the possibilities of political resistance.
